The panel is tasked with taking initiatives on Technology & Sustainability related
policy and regulatory matters and to build consensus of the industry on such issues
before representing to the Government. One of the important areas for the panel is to
work towards implementation of the CE Industry Technology Vision Roadmap 2035
that was released at ICEMA Annual Session 2023.

Its objective is to foster a robust financial ecosystem for the construction equipment (CE) industry. Additionally, the panel prepares and submits the Pre-Budget Memorandum to the Ministry of Finance, Government of India, outlining key issues within the CE sector and advocating for necessary policy reforms.

The panel focuses on brand-building initiatives for the CE industry as well as ICEMA
through social and printmedia, major exhibitions and events, monthly newsletter and
other publications. The panel also works on membership enhancement activities.
ICEMA’s activities are overseen by the Governing Council, which consists of representatives from leading entities within the construction equipment industry. The strategic directives set forth by the Governing Council are implemented through eight specialized panels, each focusing on critical priority areas for the association and the broader construction equipment sector. Each panel is led by a Convener and Co-Convener, both of whom are integral members of the Governing Council. They provide guidance and advisory support to the ICEMA Secretariat on the execution of panel activities.
