The panel is tasked with collating and analysing industry data submitted by member companies monthly, enabling the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual industry reports. Additionally, the panel conducts in-depth research and analysis of this data to provide valuable insights into future projections and trends. These insights serve as a foundation for policy advocacy, supporting the growth and development of the Indian construction equipment (CE) industry.

Terms of Reference

1. To provide thought leadership by generating and analysing market intelligence and transitioning to ‘Data as a statistical service’.

2. To develop systems to enhance data maturity by:

increasing granularity/completeness and digitalization of data collection process, including validation of data provided by member cos.
creating a mobile enabled, digital platform to provide access to dynamic and customized equipment sales data.

3. To release value-added Monthly, Quarterly and Annual CE industry data reports and disseminate highlights to a wider audience.

To define and initiate monetization plan of data reports, on attainment of sufficient data maturity

4. To establish ICEMA as a credible source of industry-specific data to create a brand beyond its own industry.

To establish indices (e.g., construction activity index, input material price monitor and new equipment price index), that can become industry standards and provide further monetisation streams for ICEMA

5. To periodically review and update the overall Indian CE industry equipment sales forecast as outlined in the Vision Plan 2030.
