Robust and credible market intelligence is a key input for thought leadership. ICEMA’s Industry Analysis & Insights Panel provides this key input by collating, generating, and analyzing market intelligence.

The Panel releases value-added monthly, quarterly, and annual CE industry data reports, the highlights of which are shared with a wider audience. The overall Indian CE industry equipment sales forecast, as outlined in the Vision Plan 2030, is periodically reviewed, and updated by this Panel.

To enable stakeholders to leverage this very credible knowledge, the Panel has set itself the vision of transitioning to ‘Data as a Statistical Service’.

Towards this end the Panel is developing systems to enhance data maturity by increasing its granularity/completeness and digitalization of data collection process, including validation of data provided by member companies. Work on a mobile enabled, digital platform to provide access to dynamic and customized equipment sales data has also been initiated.
