Mr. K V Kamath is the Chairman of the newly formed development finance institution – the National Bank for Financing Infrastructure and Development (NaBFID) which will be extending loans for infrastructure projects.

Mr Kamath was the first president of the New Development Bank, a multilateral development bank established by the BRICS member countries including Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa. He played an instrumental role in shaping the operations of the multilateral bank and establishing it as a leading multilateral financial institution.

Mr Kamath headed ICICI Bank for 13 years until 2009. He also served as the non-executive chairman of Infosys Ltd, India’s second-biggest software services exporter. Mr Kamath also spent eight years at the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Manila between 1988 and 1996, where he was part of the private sector department. He later returned to India to take over as managing director and chief executive of ICICI Bank.

As a Managing Director of RIOP, Mr. Vivekanand is responsible for the performance of the Caterpillar India operation in Thiruvallur as well as developing and executing the long-term strategy for the
facility in alignment with the overall Caterpillar strategy.

Deepak Shetty is the CEO and Managing Director of JCB India Ltd, the country’s leading manufacturer of Earthmoving and Construction Equipment. The India operations of JCB commenced almost four decades ago and today also include the South Asia Region.

Prior to this, he was the Executive Vice President – Sales, Marketing, Product Support and Business Development. Under his leadership, JCB’s iconic Backhoe Loader has reinforced its leadership in the Indian Construction Equipment Market. He has also led to establishing JCB’s Tracked Excavators as a leading player in the industry more recently.

He is a member of the JCB Group Exec and is based out of the India Headquarters at Delhi-NCR and has been with the company for over a decade in various leadership roles, both in India and at JCB’s World Headquarters in the UK. He joined JCB India’s Pune operations in 2010 and was instrumental in developing it into a Global Manufacturing Hub for the group. He later went on to become the Managing Director of JCB’s Global Excavator business in the UK for four years.

Before joining JCB, Deepak worked for Larsen and Toubro Limited, India’s largest Engineering & Construction Company for about 17 years. He joined the engineering conglomerate as a Graduate Engineer Trainee and then moved on to different roles and responsibilities in India and later in the USA.

He is a member of CII’s (Confederation of Indian Industry) National Council and Chairs the CII National Committee on Capital Goods and Engineering. Deepak is the Chairman of Excon, South Asia’s largest exhibition for Construction Equipment and is also a member of the CII UK India CEO Forum. He is a Mechanical Engineer from the Birla College of Engineering and is an alumnus of SPJIMR, Mumbai and the Manchester Business School, the UK where he pursued management studies.

Patrick Ellis is a Mining Executive and Engineering Professional with particular expertise in developing and running international mineral extraction operations. This experience is underpinned by a career of over 30 years in providing leadership to multiple open cut and underground mines in the metalliferous and coal sectors.

Mr Ellis provides a full spectrum of expertise from concept development and feasibility study through to project development and steady state operations. With an aggregate work experience of more than 13 years, Mr. Rajeshwar Burla is Group Head, Corporate Ratings at ICRA Limited (A Moody’s Investors Service Company). He is also a member of the rating committee at ICRA.

Mr. Burla handles a diverse portfolio across sectors viz. Infrastructure-Transportation (Roads, Airports and Mass Rapid Transit System (MRTS)), Construction-EPC, real estate (residential, commercial – office, retail and industrial) and building materials with special focus on Public Private Partnership (PPP) and Project Finance. Mr. Arvind Kumar Garg is Executive Vice-President and Head of L&T Construction & Mining Machinery with a diverse experience of 35 years in Larsen & Toubro Group. His responsibilities include the activities of L&T’s Rubber Process Machinery and Product Development Centre.

Dr Reji Mathai is Director – ARAI, Pune. He has vast experience of more than 28 years in the field of engine & vehicle testing, emission studies and ambient air quality. He has done his B.Tech. in Mech Engg from SGSITS, Indore, MTech from IIT BHU and doctorate from IIT Delhi.

He is the chairman of AISC, responsible for preparation & approval of automotive standards. He has been a part of Auto Fuel Vision & Policy 2025 Committee for drafting the policy. He played key role in initiating and establishment of NACIEL – JV between National Academy of Construction & SREI to train manpower for Construction companies involved in Infrastructure building. Earlier stint also includes, CENTURION Bank and GENERAL MOTOR Acceptance Corpn.

Himanshu Aggarwal is the Executive Director and CFO of Tara Chand Logistic Solutions Ltd, an NSE listed entity engaged in serving the infrastructure development needs of India through its extensive fleet of more than 300 heavy duty cranes, hydraulic piling rigs, concrete equipment and trailers. The company’s professional team serves across various sectors like Oil & Gas Refineries, Steel, Cement, Renewable Energy, Rural and Urban Infra (Roads, Highways, Airports, Metro & High Speed Rail, Irrigation and Gas Pipelines). Himanshu is responsible for the business growth of the company delivering services across 19 states in the country with international operations at Mauritius. He chiefly engages with equipment manufacturers and financial institutions to structure deals in sync with the company’s needs and market demand.

A PhD in Chemical Engineering, Dr Anuradda has 25 years of teaching and research experience at the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, Indian Institute of Technology Bombay (IITB). She is a global expert on alternate fuels and renewable energy and has publications in reputed journals with over 4000 citations. Honouring her expertise, in 2008, Dr. Anuradda was invited as a visiting faculty at Purdue University where she enhanced global collaboration and extended her learning as well. After completing her term as the Head of the Department of Energy Science and Engineering, IIT Bombay, in 2013, she joined the Industry, and is currently the
Director and Chief Technical Advisor at Cummins Technologies India Pvt Ltd. (CTIPL). She advises on innovative technology, regulatory trends and policy. She also advises on University and Government collaboration areas and strategic
partnerships. In her earlier roles, she established and led the Research and Innovation for Cummins Tech Center (India), to address the fit-for-market requirements for Cummins India products. She was the Director of Cummins Research and Technology India, focusing on application of Analysis Led Design tools to reduce time and cost of product development.

She continues her association with Academia as Adjunct Professor at the Centre of Policy Studies, IIT Bombay. She has contributed extensively to the field of renewable energy. Her research spans across different subjects including alternate fuels (producer and syngas), chemicals (using supercritical fluid extraction) from biomass and “smart-carbon”, underground coal gasification, and energy systems modelling. She has contributed to the subject with over 60 international publications, over 4000 citations, supervised 16 PhDs and has half a dozen granted patents.

In 2020, she was inducted as a Fellow of the Indian Nation Academy of Engineering. She is the recipient of the SWE Prism Award in 2021 for her impact on Society as well as the engineering community. She has shared her journey and tips in an e-book published in 2021, by Confederation of Indian Industries (CII) on 51 Indian women achievers in STEM.
